The Stories Huey Tells

for ages 6 to 10

When Huey has bad dreams, his big brother Julian says it's no big thing. When Huey orders trout in a restaurant and it comes to the table whole, with an eye looking straight up at him, Julian reminds Huey he'd better eat it all. And when Huey wants to study animal tracks with Julian and Gloria, Julian tells him he's too young.

But Huey isn't a little kid. He's six years old, and he's an adventurer. Ready to invent banana spaghetti. Ready to be the only one who isn't astonished when there are elephant tracks in the back yard.

For every little brother--or little sister--who's tired of being left out and is ready to change things, these stories show the way.
